One garden stump, from start to finish.
The same job at the beginning, part way through and nearly done, using our smaller machine in a fenced back garden.
Screened off. Ground out. Left tidy.
Whether it is one stump by the patio or a whole row across a country house lawn, the screens go up first so chippings stay where we are working. We grind the stump out, deal with the roots if they need to go, backfill and rake level.
The ground is left ready to turf, plant or pave. You are left with a heap of wood chip. This can be used as a top dressing on flower beds or mixed in with compost.
